Tradition, Interrupted.

Inspired by the delicacy and ritual of traditional porcelain figures, this piece introduces a deliberate interruption.
The classical softness associated with Lladró becomes the starting point; the graphic X-eyes associated with KAWS cut through that calm surface.
The result is not a copy, but a critique of taste, nostalgia and authorship. A refined domestic object is pushed into a different conversation: collectible, icon, design object and satire at once.
Same tradition. Different code.
Concept
A porcelain figure becomes the site of intervention. We begin with softness, ritual and familiarity.

Model
The form is simplified and rebalanced. The pedestal and body become a single visual statement.

Eyes
The X mark is introduced as disruption: a minimal sign that changes the entire reading of the piece.

Print
The object is translated into layers, prototypes and physical tests through FDM printing.

Finish
Filler, sanding, surface refinement and paint define the final character of the object.

Final
A familiar object. A different meaning. Tradition, interrupted.
